An accomplished lawyer and businesswoman, Randy Turtle helped to pioneer the field of third-party evidence storage in the mid 1990s when SafeStore was founded.
Joe Latta has been affiliated with SafeStore since 2002, providing expertise in property management and evidence storage. A retired Lieutenant with the Burbank Police Department, Joe is Executive Director and Lead Instructor of the IAPE (International Association for Property and Evidence).
Chad Callaghan has more than 30 years of experience in managing warehouse operations and distribution services for businesses.
With a versatile Bachelors of Arts degree in English and a minor in Secondary Education, Laurie Peterson has had a diverse career in business and education.

Randy L. Turtle
President
Randy Turtle an accomplished lawyer and businesswoman, she helped to pioneer the field of third-party evidence storage in the mid 1990s when SafeStore USA was founded. As an attorney, Randy served the film and television industries, managing labor contracts and researching copyright and other intellectual property matters. She went on to manage B2B sales efforts for the largest independent manufacturer of computer-related products in the United States. For the past 25 years, Randy has applied her management skills, legal expertise and experience in secure evidence storage to meet the needs of SafeStore USA diverse and specialized clients. An expert in the complexities of chain of custody and evidence preservation, Randy has been honored to participate in the California State Sheriff’s Association, California Police Chiefs Association, California Association of Property and Evidence, FBI National Academy Associates, and California Association of Crime Lab Directors and other esteemed organizations.

Chad Callaghan has more than 30 years of experience in managing warehouse operations and distribution services for businesses. His deep knowledge and expertise in inventory management, facility management, security, inspection and building audits enable him to effectively manage SafeStore USA warehouse facilities.

Joe Latta has been affiliated with SafeStore USA since 2002, providing expertise in property management and evidence storage. A retired Lieutenant with the Burbank Police Department, Joe is Executive Director and Lead Instructor of the IAPE (International Association for Property and Evidence). In the past 20 years, he has conducted Property Room Management classes to more than 15,000 law enforcement personnel. He is also President of Evidence Control Systems, Inc., which provides property room auditing services to law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S.

Joe Moralli
Consultant
Joe Moralli brings 22+ years of property/evidence experience to our team. Joe continues to work in the law enforcement field as a Property and Evidence Supervisor. He is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert by the California Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST), is a Past President of the California Association for Property and Evidence (CAPE) and is the current President of the International Association for Property and Evidence (IAPE). Most recently, Joe was the Facilitator for the POST Evidence and Property Management Guide and the Agency Self Evaluation Guide updates. For the past six years, Joe has been working as Principal of 1413 Consulting and has performed over 20 comprehensive audits and 12 complete inventories.
